Did you know that consuming green tea regularly gives you health and a long life

A new study indicates that people who prefer green tea may enjoy a longer and healthier life. Where a recent Chinese study revealed, that drinking green tea may reduce the risk of death from cardiovascular diseases, which helps to enjoy a longer and healthier life.

The researchers found that among the more than 100,000 Chinese adults surveyed, it was found that those who consumed green tea at least three times a week were less likely to have a heart attack or stroke during the next seven years.

Tea lovers also had a share of longevity. At the age of fifty, they could have expected to live a little longer than one year than their peers who did not drink green tea regularly.

The latest Chinese study is the latest to consider the potential health effects of green tea.

Over the years, many studies have linked green tea with its general health benefits such as healthy cholesterol levels and body weight, and a lower risk of heart disease and some types of cancer.

These studies are intended for researchers to ask people about their habits and lifestyles in addition to other factors, and then follow their health consequences. But the only limitation of that study remained that it did not demonstrate that green tea, in and of itself, provided any benefits!

Have green tea
Several studies have linked green tea consumption with its public health benefits
People who drink green tea may differ from non-consumers in other ways. A nutritionist at St. Louis University says research in the United States has found that people who drink tea (all types of tea) generally have a healthier diet than others who drink alcohol !.

Additionally, there is some evidence from clinical trials. As this scientist pointed to a recent experience of Iranian women, it was revealed from following their habits that those who drank three cups of green tea daily witnessed an improvement in weight, blood pressure, blood sugar and cholesterol over an eight-week period.

Scientists recommend eating green tea because it is free of calories and rich in antioxidants. “It is one of the healthy drinks that should be included in your diet if you are looking for a taste taste as well as health benefits.”

Tea of all kinds contains caffeine, so scientists are advised to be careful if you are taking medications that interact with caffeine, or if you suffer from insomnia.

The results were published online on January 9 in the European Journal of Preventive Cardiology. The study was based on about one hundred thousand Chinese adults who initially had no heart disease and cancer. Participants were interviewed about their lifestyle habits and medical history, and their weight, blood pressure, and cholesterol were measured.

Tea tree
Green, black and white tea come from the same source as the “tea tree” and contain the same amount of caffeine
During the follow-up period – usually seven years – approximately 3,700 suffered a heart attack or stroke, or died from cardiac causes. The risk was 20% lower, among those who drank green tea periodically (at least three times a week).

These usual consumers were 15% less likely to die of any cause, as opposed to people who drank less green tea or did not drink it at all.

Green, black and white tea come from the same source as the “tea tree” and contain the same amount of caffeine. Black tea is processed differently from green tea, after harvesting, which means there are differences in how it is made. And compared to black tea – which is the most popular in the United States and other countries of the world – green tea is higher in antioxidants called flavonoids, according to the authors of the study.

Researchers confirm that laboratory experiments indicate that green tea extract can stop inflammation and improve the functioning of cells in blood vessels and the heart.

Scientists still emphasize encouraging people to go ahead and enjoy their tea, as it is a calorie-free form of water (provided it is not loaded with sugar or cream).

“Adding green tea to your daily routine can not only hurt, but may help maintain overall health and enjoy longevity.
